Empty Nesters/ Free Birders Support Groups
For parents of recently graduated high school seniors, this group will include education, reflection, and process in a supportive community. This group will provide:
Emotional support including space to process feelings of pride, loss, and uncertainty
Tools to navigate identity shifts as daily parenting roles change and personal purpose is redefined
Guidance on strengthening relationships including rekindling connection with a partner and adjusting to new dynamics with adult children
Reflection to rediscover personal passions and interests that may have been set aside while raising children
A sense of community and shared experience with others going through similar life changes
Encouragement to celebrate this new life phase as a time of growth, freedom, and accomplishment
Strategies for creating a meaningful and fulfilling post-parenting chapter in life
Mindful Parenting for Anxiety
A 1.5-Hour Experiential Workshop for Parents
Parenting a child who struggles with anxiety—or navigating your own anxiety as a parent—can feel overwhelming, isolating, and emotionally draining. This one-time, 90-minute workshop is designed to offer immediate support, connection, and practical tools to help you respond with greater calm, clarity, and confidence.
Whether your child is a toddler, teen, or adult, this workshop is open to parents of all ages and stages.
In this workshop, you will:
Identify the patterns and triggers that fuel anxiety in both you and your child
Learn how to track and regulate your own nervous system, so you can stay grounded during stressful moments
Explore mindful parenting techniques that promote emotional connection and reduce reactivity
Practice simple, concrete strategies you can use right away to support your child—and yourself—when anxiety shows up
Gain a sense of community and shared understanding with other parents facing similar challenges
This workshop is ideal for parents seeking practical, compassionate tools for navigating anxiety in the parent-child relationship. No previous mindfulness or therapy experience required.
